Grief Support
Supporting you as you grieve
At Andrews Mortuary we understand the importance of providing grief support and bereavement resources to those that are dealing with a recent death. In an effort to continue our commitment of care to our families, we are pleased to provide a complete program of bereavement services.
Lynn Donofrio is our Bereavement Coordinator.
In the difficult days following the funeral, Lynn will address your individual needs by providing on- going support, bereavement resources, referrals to community grief groups and grief professionals. Lynn also works within the community to provide grief support and education
Lynn, along with our preplanning funeral director Lori Taylor, presents informational seminars to local healthcare facilities and community groups. Lynn serves as a coordinator for our social bereavement group Facing Forward and our Speaker Series, which provides education on grief to the entire community. During the Holidays we recognize the importance of remembering our loved ones and host a Service of Remembrance for family and friends. By establishing the Greater Wilmington Support Group Network, Lynn continues to work with local groups and services to connect people to the support and resources that meet their unique needs. Lynn has her Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies from Ursuline College and worked as a Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator in Ohio. Lynn can provide helpful materials on grief through our Lending Library and suggest other supportive resources. To reach Lynn call 910-762-7788 or email
